Welcome to our website.
Cancer Relief UK was set up to assist cancer sufferers in the UK who experience financial hardship during their illness. We also provide funding for things like wheelchairs, morphine pumps etc, as well as paying toward the cost of more substantial things like stairlifts, modernisation of house etc.
As well as this type of grant we have also made large contributions to other appeals when our finances have allowed, these include donating £25000 to Josh Hill (13) of Notts towards his appeal of £130000 for him to receive treatment in America for prostate cancer.
We donated £10000 to Brandon Bell (12) from Scotland who needed urgent medical attention in Florida for a brain tumour.
£10000 was donated to Sarah Hargreaves from Derbyshire who needed this figure to pay for Cyberknife treatment on a brain tumour.
To date we have assisted hundreds of unfortunate people who have enough to cope with, without worrying where the next penny is coming from.
To enable us to continue this work we rely on donations and legacies, please keep us in mind when possible.
We have recently broadened our fundraising efforts to include charity shops.
At these shops it is possible to sell us your good clean reusable clothing items and shoes, for us to recycle for cash.
We are paying 50p per kilo (or you can donate) for these items, and then selling them on to raise a profit for the charity.
